I had weekly acupuncture in last few weeks of pregnancy as well as a session with Julia and my partner learning acupressure points for pregnancy and birth. Julia was very warm and professional. We learned tons and we were able to put it into practice because Julia made everything clear and easy for us. The acupuncture sessions became the highlight of the week at pregnancy’s end, really assisted with comfort, energy and stress.

I was recommend to rebalance Chinese medicine by a friend. So happy I took the plunge and started acupuncture. I was a little nervous. Lovely Cathy at reception greeted me with a smile. I then met Julia who showed me around. The clinic is so clean and has a real calm vibe. Beds are comfortable and the heat lamps keep you warm and toasty whilst you drift off. My treatment is ongoing. Julia is extremely knowledgeable and really gentle. She is also really calming and sets your mind at ease. Give it a go. You will not regret it. Always leave happy and most of all calm. Seeing Julia for treatment has been a huge benefit to my health.Like many people I have arthritis but for the past 2 years I've also had bursitis and tendonosis in my right hip which had been very painful and restricted my movements including making it very difficult to walk up any incline at all and causing a lot of pain at night.After the 1st treatment I walked out without any pain at all. I couldn't believe it.The pain returned in about 24 hours but after each treatment the pain was reduced for longer periods, until I was finally pain free for the majority of time.I am now able to walk up steps without any pain and walk long distances which has increased my fitness. I didn't have much faith after all the treatments I've received but it has really changed my life.

I was highly recommended to see Julia Bartrop through a friend who was going through a similar ivf journey to me. I was hesitant at first as I had never done accupuncture before and wasn’t really sure of the benefits. I knew the stress of ivf and trying for a baby was getting to me and I knew I had to do something productive from my mind and body.From the first visit Julia was a breath of fresh air. She made me feel instantly relaxed and safe and provided me with so much helpful information. Julia goes above and beyond what her role entails. She is empathetic, kind and caring. I always feel supported. Julia helped me with herbs for fertility and worked with me through my ivf journey providing me with acupuncture and pointers along the way. I’m currently almost 39 weeks pregnant and Julia still works along side me, helping with pressure points and working with my partner to help when I’m in labor. Julia at Rebalance was there for me at an extremely vulnerable time just before the birth of my child. I was advised at 40 weeks pregnant from my provider that I'd be induced if I didn't go into spontaneous labour before 41 weeks. I came to Julia for birth prep acupuncture which I believe after a few sessions, as well as a relaxing massage around back and pelvic area, combined with acupressure work at home that I naturally went into labour right on my induction date. Julia was very kind and went above and beyond for me. I highly recommend this clinic. 👌

I am a big fan of the Sleepy Tea. I’m a light sleeper and found with two young children my sleep was very broken. I didn’t want to resort to pills that would make me feel like a zombie. The sleepy tea, was soothing and gentle, it didn’t make me feel zonked. I found that I slipped into a sleep state much more smoothly and if I was woken, I could deal with the problem with a clear head and could slip back into an easy sleep once back in bed. I highly recommend this tea.

Julia is so attentive to my changing needs during ivf. She has been skilled at managing multiple concerns at once, blending a holistic combination of treatment approaches to also treat immunity, stress, blood pressure and gut health at the same time. Julia really understands the ivf process, including the most current developments. Guided imagery/meditations with Julia are such a treat and her recommendations for what I can do between treatments, leaves me feeling empowered, energised and optimistic.
