4. Do you have a focus in women’s health?
Yes, absolutely. We warmly support women through every stage of life. Whether you are navigating puberty, preparing for pregnancy, seeking fertility support, managing pregnancy symptoms, or transitioning through perimenopause and menopause, we provide gentle, personalized care.
5. What health conditions can Acupuncture and TCM help with?
Traditional Chinese Medicine treats the whole person, not just symptoms. Common conditions we assist with include:
- Pain Management: Chronic back, neck, shoulder, and joint pain
- Women’s Health & Fertility: Cycle regulation, period pain, IVF support, menopausal care
- Stress & Mental Wellbeing: Anxiety, tension, burnout, and sleep issues
- Digestive Health: Bloating, IBS, and sluggish digestion
- General Wellness: Energy, immunity, and overall body balance
6. What is Stiper Therapy, and is it suitable for needle-sensitive patients?
Stiper therapy uses special crystallized silicon pads placed on acupuncture points to stimulate healing through subtle quartz vibrations. Because it is completely needle-free and painless, it is an ideal option for babies, children, elderly patients, or anyone with a phobia of needles.
What to Expect & Health Insurance
7. What can I expect during my first treatment?
- Warm Welcome & Consultation: We’ll sit down together over a relaxed chat to discuss your medical history, health goals, lifestyle, and symptoms.
- TCM Assessment: Dr. Julia will check your pulse and tongue, which are classic diagnostic tools in Traditional Chinese Medicine to assess internal balance. Dr. Julia (TCM) will also palpate your entire body to laocate any muscle tension, tight or tender areas.
- Personalized Treatment: You’ll lie comfortably on a massage table while receiving your custom treatment (acupuncture, cupping, or needle-free therapy). Most clients find the session deeply relaxing and often fall asleep!
- Home Care Plan: We’ll finish with clear advice on dietary choices, lifestyle tips, or custom herbal formulas if needed.
8. Do you offer private health insurance rebates?
Yes. Rebalance TCM is an approved provider with all major Australian health funds. If your policy includes cover for Acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine, you can claim an instant rebate on-site via HICAPS or online with your itemized receipt.
